First performed in 1742, Handel’s Messiah is one of the best-known pieces of religious music ever written, and a favourite with singers, instrumentalists and audiences alike.
Over the course of five evening sessions, together with friends from other Bromley churches, we will listen to a selection of excerpts from this great work, and reflect on some of the verses of scripture which Handel so memorably set to music.
All welcome and bring your friends - no theological or musical knowledge necessary!
Meetings take place at St Peter and St Paul's Church Bromley at 7.30 for 8pm on Tuesday evenings from 12th March to 9th April.
If you would like to book a place or to find out more, please feel free to contact the church office.
