Welcome to the website for St John the Evangelist Bromley.  We are a friendly, welcoming Anglican church located close to the centre of Bromley in Kent, with an attractive historic building (Grade II Listed) and a traditional but relaxed style of worship.

Our main church services are:
Sunday 8.30am - Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
Sunday 10am - Parish Communion (Common Worship)
including hymns led by our church choir
Once a month this is our Family Communion service with a children's talk instead of our usual sermon
Wednesday 10am - Holy Communion (Common Worship)

We also run an informal Sunday afternoon service known as 4 O'Clock Church, which is specifically designed for children and families.

Details of our Sunday morning sermon series and special events can be found at a glance here.  There is a calendar of forthcoming events here.

Our Vicar is the Revd Andrew McClellan.  If you have any enquiries about any aspect of St John's, please phone or write to the church office:

We aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours, though occasionally (such as during holiday times) it may take us longer.

We are members of Churches Together in Central Bromley, and support the work of the Bromley Town Centre Chaplaincy.  Within the wider Church of England, we belong to Bromley Deanery in the Diocese of Rochester.
